The game was the proverbial 'barn burner' with lots of great scoring
chances, some big hits, good defensive play, excellent goaltending
and a little bit of luck for both sides.

Brattleboro had been unbeaten in the round robin playoff format,
going 7-0-1, with the tie coming at the hands of the 4-2-2 upstart
BayWest club. It was a true 'upset'!

The win marked the last time that any team will skate under the
name of 'BayWest', as the merger with TriCity will be finalized
during the offseaon.

Congratulations to the BayWest PeeWee team.
They worked hard all season long, stayed focused on their goal,
and came together as a team when it mattered most!
